I have always wanted to photograph a Lake Hawea (New Zealand) intimate wedding or elopement. I had visited this area each time I visited New Zealand and imagined shooting a wedding there. Tabbatha & Tyler were planning exactly what I love to photograph; a fun, laid back day with their closest family and friends. It’s always a bonus when it’s in an incredible location. When my good friend Brett Rutkowski asked if I wanted to team up and photograph their wedding in New Zealand I was super excited.
These two are such a creative couple. They own the really unique & cool clothing store called Stoned Saint Moon in Newcastle. It’s safe to say these guys know their fashion. Tabbatha also has a background in fashion photography too. The detail and styling of the day was done by Tabbatha and she even made her own bouquet! Wait until you see her dress (mind blown). I was gobsmacked when Lisa from Lenni The Label showed the dress she had created just for Tabbatha & Tyler’s special day. Tyler wore a vintage suit which just topped off their unique look.
I love these two lovebirds. Thank you for trusting in us to capture your day. Brett and I had an amazing time that we will never forget.
